Random Fact # 7

Admit it. Random facts are fun. I realized this when I had to come up with some for this post. They are so fun that I decided to periodically post other random facts about myself. So without further ado...random fact # 7:

It is rare that I can make it through the entire day with my hair down. It's a shame really, because I generally like the way my hair looks when it's down, but around mid day I'm driven to near insanity and I have to tame the mane into a pony tail. It just feels so refreshing to have it up out of my face. Through the years I have threatened many times to shave it all off. I may just have to follow through with that one of these days...

Your hair is GORGEOUS! Don't you dare pull a Brittany Spears and shave it off! I feel you on the getting it out of your face though.. Usually I have a hair binder on my wrist and at lease one backup in my purse, but I have literally gone to buy new hair binders if I don't have one with me.

No shaving!
I completely hear you on having your hair up. Hair down is so beautiful but when it gets in the way it goes up for sure. I am the SaMe way.
I am so with JW on the binder and the binder back-up too.

I am going to comment and leave a random fact in my comment.

I had really long hair once. I also could never leave it down. Then i cut it short and it was the most glorious thing ever. No hair on the back of your neck, no combing out tangles... so nice. just something to think about.

My random fact is that in Iowa they don't use the word 'binder' and if you ask someone for a 'binder' they are going to look at you like you are nuts. When you repeat yourself and say 'A hair binder' they are going to laugh at you and tell you its a pony tail holder. Ture fact.

As someone with long hair...I know what you are talking about. I get sick and tired of flipping it off my shoulder or tucking it behind my ears. Then I think, "Shave it?" and then I remember when I actually DID cut off all my hair, and how much I now cringe at that stage in my life. Yikes! And if that doesn't persuade you to leave your hair alone, let me draw on a fictional character's example: Bonnie - from Friends. Need I say more? I thank you.
Kendra? I'm laughing hysterically right now! From Wisconsin, we all say "Pony tail holder" too! Not until I moved here did I hear the term "binder." Weird.

Shaving is reserved for arm pits and legs, not heads. Didn't we have this talk when you were a teenager?
