our far away friends

 Our good friends Caleb and Amanda were just here visiting from Australia! We always have a blast when they come to stay with us and this time was no exception. Max loved having new people around to play with!

We mostly just sat around and watched movies. 

But a few times we got out of the house to go places like The House of Balls. Spooky.

cabin adventures

Every cabin trip is special, but this one was particularly special because it was Za's first time up there since her stroke. We were so excited to make her weekend great, and I think she had a really good time! Max of course LOVED the four wheeler and the pool table. Every time we bring him up there he discovers new things. It's so fun to watch him grow!

18 Months!

18 Month Stats:

-You are extremely active and are rarely sitting still

-You would live outside if I let you

-You LOVE busses and airplanes and basically anything large with wheels or wings

- You like to test the limits on what you can and cannot do. And throw fits when you don't get your way

-You are our little peanut weighing in at 21.5 pounds. 

-You like to be a "cool dude" and wear your sunglasses in the car

Max - I never thought I could love you more than the day you entered our lives, but with every grin and hug and sweet word from you, my heart gets filled more and more. We love you so much!

the wheels on the bus

To say Max loves buses is a gross understatement. He doesn't see a bus ever without pointing, shouting "buuuuuuuuuuusssssssssss," doing the "please" sign and getting upset when the bus leaves our sight. So it pretty much blew Max's mind when Grandpa let him see his bus up close and personal. It was a little 18 month old's dream come true.
